Horrible Histories immersive experience arrives at RAF Cosford
The past is no longer a mystery as Horrible Histories is welcomed to Shropshire for some foolish flying fun.
Visitors to the RAF Museum in Cosford are being urged to fasten their seatbelts as the 'Up in the Air Adventure' is about to take off at the designated 'Horrible Hangar'.
Based on the Horrible Histories books written by Terry Deary, the museum will bring characters to life as families explore the (sometimes gruesome) history of flight.
Aviation pioneers from throughout history will be onhand to navigate children and families around the museum and the six activity zones.
The aim of the event is for families to work together to solve clues and puzzles in a fully interactive experience.
Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown attended the launch event on Thursday, noting that this year marks its 30th anniversary.
"I was told it has sold 35 million copies world-wide and it currently is available in 30 different languages," Martin said.
