Our video shows crowds lining the Kingsland Bridge and the banks of the River Severn for the RBC Brewin Dolphin Shrewsbury Regatta first day on Saturday.
The event is one of the oldest events in the rowing calendar, having first been held in1871 and continues on Sunday.
