Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Packy Lee and others will descended on Cineworld Birmingham for a special screening of the first episode of the fourth series.

The stars of the show will be joined by creator and director Steven Knight, who was born in Birmingham. The cast, along with Mr Knight, will hold a panel session at the end of the episode for those lucky enough to get tickets to the special event.

Fans wanting to get their hands on tickets for this month's screening, taking place on Monday October 30, can register online from 9am on Monday October 16. The website is www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours.

Steven Knight said: “I’m delighted that, once again, Peaky Blinders will premiere in Birmingham where it belongs. It’s always a fantastic occasion and myself and the cast can’t wait to be there.”

Fans of the show are encouraged to don their flat caps and get in the mood by dressing in the Peaky Blinders style. There will be street entertainment and music at the live red carpet event from 5pm on Monday October 30 on Bishopsgate Street, Birmingham.

Joe Godwin, the director of BBC Birmingham, said: "Last year’s Peaky Blinders premiere was a real moment for Brummies and this year promises to be even better. We are honoured to be hosting it again and are very proud to welcome back the hugely talented cast and production team who we know will receive an incredible reception from local fans once again.”

For the launch of the third series, the cast of Peaky Blinders descended on the Mailbox's Everyman cinema.

The fourth series of the show sees Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy, pursued by a new enemy who threatens to annihilate his entire family. Fleeing his country house, Tommy returns to the only safe place he knows: Small Heath, Birmingham.

Parts of the show are filmed at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley.
