Charlie’s at The Old Mill Tearooms is one of five finalists in the Midlands Food and Hospitality Awards Best Afternoon Tea category.

The winner will be announced in June and tearooms owner Charlie Powell says she and her team are delighted to be nominated.

“We have been open for two years and won several awards along the way but this one is very special!”, says Charlie. “To be nominated for such a prestigious award is brilliant and we are all very excited – Charlie’s at the Old Mill is run by a team and everyone has played a part in making it a success.”

The tearooms offers breakfast and lunch in addition to afternoon tea, plus Mad Hatters and Secret Garden parties.

Anyone who would like to vote for Charlie can do so via her social media page, Charlie’s at the Old Mill Tearooms.

After the original Birmingham Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards proved to be very popular, the competition was expanded to the entirety of the Midlands.

The greatly broadened awards recognise the best eateries, restaurants, bars and pubs across the region.
