Michelin-star chef preparing finishing touches to new restaurant opening near Oswestry next month
A Michelin-star chef who has made the move to Shropshire has said he is currently watching Youtube videos to learn how to landscape.
It comes ahead of the opening of 'Restaurant Fraiche' which will be based at Marc Wilkinson's new home just outside of Oswestry.
As the owner of a Michelin-star restaurant formerly located in Oxton, Birkenhead, Marc knows a thing or two about food – but landscaping is a new venture.
Marc is the holder of three AA rosettes and the first Michelin star on Merseyside, his 25-year career has seen him spend time in places like the Pennyhill Park Hotel and the Mirabelle Restaurant in Eastbourne’s Grand Hotel.
Most of the work to the new restaurant has been done by Marc himself, but he said there was an element or two which required the help of experts.
Restaurant Fraiche is set to open next month and bookings can be made via the website.
