Lidl has revealed its very own Christmas cola truck for the first time, just in time for the festive season.

The bright red truck, based on Lidl’s popular Freeway Cola, is a massive 15-tonne, 20-metre-long vehicle. It will be touring nine cities across the UK, bringing a pop-up Christmas wonderland to each stop.

It will visit places like Dundee, Harrogate, Hull, and Nottingham. It’s also set to stop in Wolverhampton, following a similar route to the famous Coca-Cola truck.

But Lidl promises the fun doesn’t end there.

Inspired by their new Christmas advert, directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper, Lidl aims to make some Christmas wishes come true. At each stop, visitors can make one wish that could change their family’s life. Lidl will then grant a selection of these wishes.

The stops will also feature plenty of festive fun. Visitors can enjoy Christmas treats, step inside a giant present box, ring a bell to kick off the holiday season, and try Lidl’s tasty Snowmellows.

Joanna Gomer, Lidl GB’s marketing director, said: “Giving back to our communities is really important to us. Our exciting Freeway truck tour allows us to bring the festive spirit right to their doorstep.

“With nine stops across the country, we’ll be giving out presents, festive food, and granting wishes to make dreams come true. Keep an eye out for the Freeway truck and, most importantly, come along and join in the fun!”

The truck will stop at 6pm for each of the nine locations. Find the full list of stops below:
