Firstly there was Emily, who has the patience of a saint, as anyone else who had to live with Norris would have killed him in his sleep by now.
However, good on her for booting nasty Tracy out of No 3.
Tracy destroyed a pair of Emily's late husband's shoes when she was trying to get back at Norris, but it all backfired and the street's sour-faced puss got chucked out onto the street.
When she said to Tracy: "You are a lazy, feckless, self-centred, spiteful, spoilt little brat," we were cheering her on, and in fact it was surprising to see placid Emily being so tough.
I have to say that even though she is a nasty piece of work I do like Tracy because she comes out with some classic lines, such as saying to Norris "Oh butt out twinkle toes" and promising Ken that if he stuck his oar in she would "snap it right off".
She has burned so many bridges that even her own dad wasn't prepared to take her in. Tracy kept telling everyone she wasn't feeling well – and she did appear a bit peaky.
Hopefully this illness is nothing more than a bit of a headache, otherwise Emily and Ken will be regretting their tough stance.
Secondly there is Tyrone, who was such a sweet person before his wife Molly cheated on him with his boss Kevin and then we saw his angry side come out.
Now it was re-emerged as his pregnant girlfriend Kirsty has walked out on him and he is attacking anyone who comes within five metres of him – even the lovely Chesney received the full force of Tyrone's anger.
That lad needs some serious anger management as otherwise his baby is going to grow up with a bully for a mum and the Incredible Hulk for a dad.
To be honest I don't think Kirsty was much of a catch – although Tyrone somehow believed that she was out of his league.
Yes, she was a good looking girl and pretty smart, but also a jealous psycho. Obviously there isn't much choice in the street for Tyrone, so if he is keen on getting her back he needs to realise that she is a girl who likes to do the chasing, and he has to stop begging her to come back. If she thinks he has moved on, with someone like Fiz, then she will be back soon enough and staring every other girl down with those crazy eyes of hers.
Talking of crazy people, Mary looks like she is ready to crack at any moment. Roy may not win the prize for sexiest man on television but there is something about him that seems to attract the women.
Mary looks like she is ready to pounce at any moment and when she hears that Hayley won't be able to make the recital in Malvern she is so excited she adds a chocolate éclair to her order of an egg custard.
She has had her sights set on Roy for a while and thanks to their intense games of chess she has been able to spend some quality time alone with him in the evenings while Hayley and Norris go dancing.
The thought of spending the night in the same hotel as Mary is enough to scare anyone, no wonder Roy went pale at the thought of having so much time alone with her. She reminds me of Cathy Bates in Misery – Roy will be lucky if he gets through this recital alive.
