Occasionally social media gets all nostalgic, and this time it was the 1990s that Twitter was remembering.

Yes, classics such as the Tamagotchi were looked back on, as well as incredibly slow internet.

And who could forget Carlton’s dancing on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

However, when it comes to UK nostalgia there are some titans of the industry to compete with, none more so than ChuckleVision and the Chuckle Brothers, Barry and Paul.

The popular children’s TV show ran from the 1980s to the 2000s, with the brothers finding themselves in tricky situations each show, and arguably enjoyed its prime in the 1990s.

This is nostalgia, the British way.

For anyone who’s never seen the show before, these are the kind of japes you’ve been missing out on.

Other popular nostalgia included Britney Spears…

… as well as a time when Freddos rules the world.

But nothing brings back the memories like the antics of Paul and Barry Chuckle.

“To me, to you.” Classic.
