All night long the five-piece ska-punk group kept the audience jumping, dancing and cheering to its full-of-energy tracks.

It successfully blended hip hop, rock and pop music together with laid-back reggae to produce a sound that helped keep the whole crowd enthused.

During the evening OPM played a number of its own hits as well as a cover version The Clash's Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

The Southern Californian band members agreed to play in Oswestry as part of its Lucky 13 tour which has brought the band members out of America and across to UK shores.

The tattoo-sporting, muscle-shirt wearing band seemed enthusiastic to be playing at the venue and OPM lead singer told fans: "You guys are awesome, it feels good to be back in the UK.

"We feel very lucky that we are still around after 13 years."

As the night went on fans moved from their appreciative nodding and foot–tapping to full on jumping with hands high in the air.

OPM also encouraged audience participation getting people to sing along to lyrics of the songs. A few of the crowd even leapt on to jump alongside the group.

At the end of the night the group ended with its top hit single Heaven is a Half pipe, which has been labelled as a skateboarders anthem. It has also won the UK Kerrang Award for Single Of The Year and received heavy airplay on MTV in late 2000 and early 2001.

Now more than 10 years on, no one at The Ironworks had forgotten it and they all sang along to the lyrics at the top of their voices.

It was a great night out in Oswestry which saw people leaving the gig saying "that was awesome".
