The rapper-songwriter will be keeping hundreds of clubbers entertained at Club Crush, in Telford town centre.

Promoter Lee Elliott said that they were expecting to almost double the size of their Friday night crowd.

The club, which has been in the town for three years, regularly attracts around 500 people every Friday but Mr Elliott said he was expecting around 900.

"I hope to get a huge crowd because she is very popular and a big star of the urban scene.

"She is one of the biggest stars we have had at the club for a while.

"It is a big coup for us for her to come to Telford. It will be a very, very good night and she is very good live. It is an urban night and there will be R&B music."

The DJs for the night will be Telford's DJ PKO and DJ Six.

The doors will open at 10.30pm while Ms Dynamite is due on stage at around 12.30am and is due to perform for about 45 minutes.

Ms Dynamite, who has won the Mercury Music Prize, two Brit Awards and three Mobo Awards, will take part in a Meet and Greet at the club during her visit.

Fans who get to meet the singer can also have their photo taken with her which will be available on the night and can also be seen on the club's Medlink Facebook page. Club Crush is no stranger to top acts performing, with Radio IXtra's Charlie Sloth there last week.

Ms Dynamite was born and raised in Archway, a district in north London, to a Jamaican father and a Scottish mother.

She first burst on to the music scene in 2001 with her debut album A Little Deeper which featured the hit singles It Takes More and Dy-na-mi-tee.

After a second album Judgement Days in 2005, she took a break from recording to concentrate of motherhood and an appearance on ITV's Hell's Kitchen.

Her most recent single, Neva Soft, was released in 2011.
