The Rolling Stones to play Midland gig

The Rolling Stones will be coming to the Midlands this summer.

The rock icons' No Filter 2018 tour will not see the band perform in Birmingham, organisers have confirmed.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will play the Ricoh Arena.

Speaking ahead of the tour Mick said: "It’s great that we’ll be playing even more UK venues where we’ve never played before. Look out Coventry, we’ll see you this summer.”

Keith Richards added: “Bring it on, two more shows for our UK fans. Can’t wait."

The Rolling Stones are known for a huge array of songs, including Paint It Black, Angie, Gimme Shelter, Start Me Up, Wild Horses, Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Sympathy For The Devil, Ruby Tuesday, It's Only Rock 'n' Roll and many, many more.

They have urged fans to avoid secondary ticketing sellers and to only head for www.rollingstones.com where plenty of tickets will be available for purchase.

The Rolling Stones will play the Ricoh Arena on June 2.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Thursday.
