Village People, The Real Thing, and The Three Degrees among seven acts to play Birmingham for 40 Years Of Disco show
Icons such as Village People and The Three Degrees will play Birmingham for the return of 40 Years of Disco.
The huge show, starring seven acts, follows the success of the first event this year, which took place at the Genting Arena last weekend.

Next year's line-up will feature Village People, The Trammps, Imagination starring Leee John, The Gibson Brothers, The Three Degrees, The Real Thing, and Eruption.
The 40 Years Of Disco 2 show will take place at the Genting Arena on March 24.
Tickets are now on sale for the show, priced between £53.18 and £108.55 for meet and greet access.

Village People
Founded in New York in 1977, Village People is a six-piece act best known for their costumes and catchy songs.
The band's name refers to New York's Greenwich Village, known at the time for its large gay population - for which Village People was originally created.
On the group's 40th anniversary, Willis, the original lead singer, returned. With his powerful and distinctive voice, the party continues with the original 'Hot Cop' now back at the helm.
Top songs the group is known for include YMCA, Macho Man, In The Navy and Go West.

The Trammps
This act started out in Philadelphia back in 1972 as one of the first-ever disco acts.
According to the group's website, its members include Robert Upchurch, Van Fields, Lafayette Gamble, Ed Cermanski, Doc Salom, Dave Rue, Mike Natalini, Rusty Stone, Fred Vesci, Carmen Tornambe, and Inner City Horns.
The Trammps' best known song is Grammy Award-winning hit Disco Inferno. The group is also known for its cover of Judy Garland's Zing! Went The Strings Of My Heart, That's Where The Happy People Go, Love Epidemic and Where Do We Go From Here.

Imagination starring Leee John
London band Imagination was created in the early 80s, by Hackney-born Leee John, Ashley Ingram from Northampton and Errol Kennedy from Jamaica.
In just three years, Imagination earned four platinum discs, nine gold discs and more than a dozen silver discs around the world between 1981 and 1983.
Songs the group is best known for include Body Talk; Just An Illusion; Music and Lights; So Good, So Right; Changes; and Burning Up.

The Gibson Brothers
French disco act The Gibson Brothers was formed in 1976 and had its greatest success during the disco boom of the late 1970s.
It was created by trio of brothers Chris, Patrick and Alex Gibson.
The group's best known songs include Cuba; Oooh, What A Life, Non-Stop Dance; Que Sera Mi Vida; and Better Do It Salsa.

The Three Degrees
Philadelphia trio The Three Degrees launched in 1963.
Though a total of 15 women have been members of the years, the group has always been a three-piece group.
Today, the line-up consists of Valerie Holiday, Helen Scott and Freddie Pool.
The Three Degrees' top songs include When Will I See You Again, Woman In Love, Take Good Care Of Yourself and The Sound Of Philadelphia.

The Real Thing
The multi-million selling soul band features two original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith who have just celebrated the 40th anniversary of the act's debut hit single You To Me Are Everything.
Singer Eddy Amoo tragically died last month.
Songs the Liverpool-founded band is best known for include Can You Feel The Force?, Can't Get By Without You and Let's Go Disco.

Eruption
