Birmingham show for Aquilo
They've decided to experiment with different digital approaches to releasing their music, and now Aquilo will showcase their live talents to a Birmingham audience.
On the back of the recent release of their latest single Silent Movies, the Lake District-born duo will play the Second City's O2 Institute 3 on April 16.
In November last year, Aquilo made the bold decision to split their second album into two parts, releasing the first five-tracks of ii as the ii (Side A) EP.
They know how to market themselves in the age of music streaming, with their tracks consistently amassing over a million listens. And ii continues Aquilo’s progression from bedroom-based laptop producers to innovators.
And 2018 should only get bigger for them - May 4 will see that first half of ii given a CD and vinyl format release to please hard record collectors.
They have just completed a huge European tour throughout this month that included stops in Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague, and now it is time for the British leg to take off.
