Classical guitarists Maciek Pysz and Gianluca Corona are bringing their London Stories 2018 tour to the town's Hermon Chapel on May 25 - and after the gig there will be a meet the artist session too for fans.

The Arts Council England-funded tour is being held to promote their debut joint record of the same name and will be taking place at intimate venues acrossthe country.

A spokesperson said: "Guitar duos don't get formed too often but with their new release, Maciek Pysz and Gianluca Corona have proved that the duo format is still alive and works very well.

"There have been very few albums of two acoustic guitars since Ralph Towner and John Abercrombie's duo albums and with this first album, London Stories, the duo continues this tradition."

The two guitarists met in London in 2012 and had an instant connection owing to their musical influences and style, inspired by the great guitar trio albums of John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola and Paco De Lucia as well as duos such as Bireli Lagrene and Sylvain Luc.

The show forms part of the venue's Hermon Jazz series, with doors opening at 8pm for an 8.30pm start. Tickets, priced at £5-to-£10 plus booking fees are available from the box office on 01691 662196, or by clicking here.
