Jess Glynne to play Wolverhampton Racecourse show
Jess Glynne continues adding to her already busy 2019 as it is announced she will be galloping into Wolverhampton Racecourse for a show.
The chart-topping pop star has already signed up to take part in next year's edition of the Forest Live series held on Cannock Chase each summer, while she will also be providing support for the highly anticipated Spice Girls reunion tour.
Jess, from London, will be performing at the racecourse on Saturday, August 31, as part of the Live After Racing season of shows.
On Friday, August 30, Madness will play an outdoor show at the Gorsebrook Road venue.
It comes hot on the heels of the release of her second album Always In Between, that hit the shelves in October featuring the hits I’ll Be There and Thursday.
"I always used to think that you’re nobody until somebody loves you," said Jess about her increasing fame. "Now I know that you have to be that person for yourself. ‘It’s been a right old journey getting here, I can tell you."

And fans can look forward to seeing one of the music industry's brightest English sparks when the 29-year-old arrives in the Black Country.
The statistics don't lie. Her debut record from 2015, I Cry When I Laugh, has been a chart staple for 138 weeks.
It debuted at number one, spawning 12 million worldwide singles sales, sitting for 39 weeks on the UK top 10, garnering 2.5 billion Spotify streams, and leading to a sold-out UK arena tour and Brit, MTV, EMA, Ivor Novello, MOBO, Q and Glamour award nominations.
But it hasn't stripped her of her honesty. Discussing her recent second full-length release, she added: "What I learned in the space between the two records is that I need to make myself happy and stop thinking somebody else will do it for me.
"If somebody is going to come into my life and stand by my side, I feel like I’ve got the strength in me now to let that happen.
"Because I don’t need it to happen. I’ve got to that place through this whole experience. Finally."
Jess promises to play all the hits and fan favourites at the Wolverhampton show including Hold My Hand, Thursday, Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself, I’ll Be There and Take Me Home, plus some brand new tracks too.
And on top of the gig, fans can enjoy a day of racing with friends and family before dancing the night away.
Gates for the racing open on the day at 11.30am, with Jess likely to take to the stage around 6pm.
Tickets will be available today from 4pm.
