KT Tunstall brings headline tour to Birmingham - in pictures
Last night Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall brought her intimate headline tour to Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
The BRIT Award-winning artist wowed crowds at the city centre venue with an electric live show featuring hits from her extensive back catalogue, such as Suddenly I See, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, Other Side of the World and more.
Ahead of the show, KT went to Birmingham City University in an event to mark the opening of The Songwriting Studies Research Network, a two-year project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, which will help to unite scholars, industry workers and practitioners for the exchange of ideas on songwriting.
During her visit to the city she was interviewed by Dr Simon Barber, Research Fellow at Birmingham City University’s Centre for Media and Cultural Research, and his collaborator Brian O’Connor, for their Sodajerker On Songwriting podcast.
