So it's coming up that part of the year that you love or hate and in fear of upsetting a few people I may sit on the fence on this one, writes Stuart Ojelay.

Of course I'm talking about Valentines! It's split between two weekends this year so not too much to get mushy about this weekend and no excuse not to take a gander at where to get your groove on!

Let's kick things off with a road trip to Leamington as winner of Radio 1's future Superstar DJ comp Hannah Jacques headlines Proper Panda at the Saint Bar. They've got some great drinks promos and free entry before 11PM to boot!

Second City vibes tonight come in form of Nude at The Vaults, Birmingham. We all know this venue to be elegant in its décor and to have a bespoke drinks selection so this brand matches up perfectly.

They bring a stylish and classy clubbing environment to your Friday night. DJs supplying the soundtrack are Rue Jay, Burkie, Danny Deakins and Nathan RG.

Poppin returns to Cannock as Birthday boy Keeko battles it out with Jonny G with an array of urban beats.

Audio Lounge is situated at the top of The Picturehouse in Stourbridge and are launching tonight with their brand new weekly event Wildchild. You'll find great drinks promos and Djs Joe Hunt, Davey Ecko and House Monkeyz playing across the spectrum of house.

The big Saturday nighter is 10.31 held at The Rainbow complex in Digbeth, which is from the creators of 02.31. You get what they're doing here right!?

Opening their doors at an earlier time allows them to let their creative juices flow with an extended list of acts and DJs.

Across three rooms there's headliners Scream and Redlight with Hannah Wants, Pete Graham, Jon Brady & Reidy, Smak Pony and Paddy Lopaski in support. Looking like a sell out so act fast!

Electro, breaks, house, mashup beats, bass, nu disco, hip-hop, old skool to new skool are the name of the game at Frixxion in Wolverhampton.

This is due to DJ Switch the three times DMC world champion coming to town. Amazing door admission to see such a talent locally is something to behold – check them out!

Ouse Play has a Valentines special at the Quadrant in Wolverhampton with Denva, Steffan Taylor and DJ Wonda taking to the decks. Expect Bass and Tech from these guys.

Be sure to take a gander at facebook.com/stuartojelay this week as I've added a new option where you can download some of my tracks and bootlegs for free! Also, pop by with any clubbing banter or if you would like a mention of your event.

Have a great weekend; See you on the other side… Stuart x
