When Ingrid Parton starting drawing and colouring at a very young age it was obvious that she shared her mother's talent.

Now Ingrid really is following in artist Chloe Parton's footsteps, by holding her first art exhibition.

Ingrid has hung several of her paintings in the Jones' Coffee House in Market Drayton.

The young artist says she likes garden birds and monkeys but above all likes doing happy paintings.

Coffee shop owner, Carol Jones, also happens to be Ingrid's grandmother.

"She has always loved drawing and her mum - my daughter - is a very talented artist."

"Chloe has exhibited in the coffee houses in Market Drayton and Whitchurch and Ingrid said she would like to have an exhibition," Mrs Jones said.

Ingrid, a pupil at Norton-in-Hales primary school, not only completed the drawings, she even made the tags for each one, with a self portrait.

The exhibition runs throughout November.
