The event will have its first Easter residency at Moreton Hall School near Oswestry from March 25 to April 1.

Seven international concert pianists and teachers will be giving daily evening recitals at the school’s Musgrave Theatre at 7pm.

Performers includes both festival directors Samantha Ward and Maciej Raginia from Poland as well as Italian, Roberto Russo, Sam Armstrong, Mark Nixon from South Africa, Madalina Rusu, Romania and Alexander Karpeyev from Russia.

With eight residencies in the UK, Italy, Germany, China and Thailand in 2018, the UK-born touring classical music enterprise is spending a week at Moreton Hall with its piano course.

It is open to participants of any age and ability and includes master classes, performances and one-to-one lessons, offering pianists an opportunity to study with the musicians.

Applications are open for the summer course at the school in August.

Tickets for the concerts are £7 and £12 and available from www.pianoweek.com/concerts and on the door.
