And former Newcastle and England boss Kevin Keegan came to Oswestry on Monday evening to tell all from his new autobiography My Life in Football.

The 67-year-old enjoyed a stellar career as a player in England and Germany, as well as stints as manager of the Magpies, Fulham, Manchester City and England.

Football fans in the area packed out the Lion Quays Hotel to meet Keegan, as well as receiving a signed book at the event organised by Booka Bookshop.

Keegan gave a colourful talk about his life on both sides of the white line, with stories from his early years right up until his unsuccessful second spell as manager of Newcastle in 2008.
