Doctor Foster star Suranne Jones swaps GP surgery for CBeebies
The actress, who had her first child last year, will be on air in September.
TV star Suranne Jones is following in the footsteps of Tom Hardy and David Hasselhoff by reading a bedtime story on CBeebies.
The Doctor Foster star, 38, who had her first child last year, will be on air, swapping the surgery for the channel’s cosy story corner, in September.
Other stars who have read CBeebies bedtime stories include Damian Lewis, Sir Derek Jacobi and James McAvoy.
She added: “It was a treat to visit everyone at the CBeebies house and share some of our favourite stories.”
The ex-Coronation Street actress will read Before I Wake Up by Britta Teckentrup, about a girl and a lion’s “magical journey through the land of dreams”.
