Robbie Williams cancels Russia show dates ‘due to illness’
The star has pulled out of three major events stretching over a week.
Singer Robbie Williams has cancelled a number of upcoming shows “due to illness”, his publicist has said.
The performances, at separate venues in Russia over the coming days, include two dates in the European leg of his The Heavy Entertainment Show.
A statement from his publicist on Tuesday read: “Due to illness the final two dates of the European leg of The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour, St Petersburg and Moscow, have been cancelled.
“Robbie Williams has played to over 1.1 million fans this summer and recently announced an Australasian leg of the tour which is happening in February and March 2018.”
The 43-year-old was due to appear in St Petersburg on Thursday and Moscow on Sunday.
He was also scheduled to perform in the closing gala content of the country’s New Wave singing contest on September 14.
