Ear, ear! Benedict Cumberbatch and Kate Winslet back Children in Need
A host of global stars have supported the cause, which hopes to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Kate Winslet are among the latest stars to show their support for BBC Children In Need.
The two British actors donned Pudsey Bear-style ears ahead of the charity’s annual appeal show, which airs on November 17, to encourage the nation to “get their ears on” for the cause.
Also supporting the campaign are Game Of Thrones stars Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Rose Leslie and Maisie Williams – each of whom has worn the ears in honour of the Children In Need mascot.

Oscar-winning actress Winslet said in a video for the campaign: “This is by far the coolest head accessory I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’m just noticing that the ears do flash up as well.
“They’re cute, they’re fuzzy, remember to go and get your own Pudsey ears, get them on and support BBC Children In Need.”

The charity is currently supporting over 2,500 projects across the country in order to help young people facing a range of disadvantages – such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma.
