Nick Knowles dons eyepatch for charity ball after emergency operation

Nick Knowles showed off a new look when he attended a charity ball after an emergency eye operation.
The DIY SOS host, 56, posted snaps on Instagram, which showed him wearing an eyepatch.
And he wrote of the charity evening: “NSPCC White Hat Ball in support of Childline – truly inspiring evening.
“Lunchtime eye op left me looking like a pirate but just about got away with it, I think.
And the star, wearing black tie, added: “Couldn’t let them down. Had to go part pirate.”
The ball, in London, raises money for the NSPCC’s ChildLine service.
Other attendees included ChildLine founder Dame Esther Rantzen.
Knowles become the sixth contestant to get the boot from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
He managed 20 days in the jungle and became the camp’s de facto cook, playing a fatherly figure to the group’s younger members.
