Amy Willerton engaged to partner Daniel Day
She received a proposal while on holiday in Switzerland.
Amy Willerton asked her fiance to propose again fearing a question popped on two knees did not count.
The British model became engaged to partner Daniel Day during a romantic ski holiday.
Willerton has said that she demanded Day ask a second time, after the first proposal was made on two bent knees.
The winner of Miss Universe Great Britain told Hello! magazine about her experience in the Alps.
She said: “The second time around I made him do it on one knee because I didn’t know if proposing on both knees counted.”
Willerton said she expected a day of skiing on the slopes, but was surprised by evidence of a different plan.
She said: “I spied a breakfast picnic set up with candles, a firepit, a bottle of our favourite champagne and red roses everywhere.
“Then he dropped to both knees and pulled out a box from his pocket containing the most beautiful ring. It felt like a dream.”
Day said: “I couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”
