Shropshire businessman stunned to see Beyoncé wearing his mirrored fabric on stage
A Shropshire mirror sheeting salesman says he was stunned to see his bespoke material worn by singing sensation Beyoncé on stage in the eyes of the world this week.
Tim Robbins from Oswestry set up his online business selling sheets of mirrored fabric in 2011, after running a successful hovercraft business in the county.
He says he sells his fabric on eBay and Etsy but was curious when he received a large order from a Dutch fashion designer.
The sheeting is normally used in the solar industry, for model making, as safety mirrors, home gyms, dance studios, art exhibits, the production of guitars and drums and all sorts of other applications, but he was then stunned to see Beyoncé in Vogue magazine this week - wearing a dress made from his material.
