First look at Holly Willoughby hosting show where Bear Grylls hunts celebrities
She will front the programme set in the Central American jungle.
Images have been released of TV presenter Holly Willoughby fronting a new celebrity jungle show that will see Bear Grylls hunt down the contestants.
The Netflix series, titled Celebrity Bear Hunt, is set to be released in February 2025 and sees famous faces dropped into the Central American jungle and becoming prey to survival expert Grylls.
The images of 43-year-old Willoughby show her in an all-green outfit, walking through a sandy woodland area, as well as peering out the side of a helicopter, and posing beside Grylls.
Grylls, 50, will put the famous faces through their paces, and competitors who fail to impress him will face the Bear Hunt – a game of cat and mouse in which they will be eliminated if they are captured.
Pictures for the eight-part series also show the cameras, simple clothes, and crude living area that appears to be where celebrities will need to stay in as well as Grylls on a motorbike.
No cast has yet been announced for the show, which was filmed in Costa Rica.
Willoughby left This Morning last year after allegations of a plot to kidnap, rape and murder her emerged, and has since returned to TV with the ITV gameshow You Bet! with Stephen Mulhern as well as Dancing On Ice over 2024.
She used to co-host This Morning with Phillip Schofield before he left ITV over an “unwise, but not illegal” affair, and she departed the same year, saying she made the decision for herself and her family.
They were also a presenting duo on Dancing On Ice.
In July, security guard Gavin Plumb was later jailed for life with a minimum term of 16 years after being found guilty of soliciting murder and inciting rape and kidnap following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Celebrity Bear Hunt will be launched on Netflix on February 5.
