The Tiny Tots Concert will be held at Shrewsbury High Prep at 9.30am.

Musicianss from the senior school will be performing a number of classical pieces for an audience of toddlers and their parents. The idea is that adults and children can still enjoy beautiful orchestral music whilst not having to worry if their toddlers are pottering around, twirling or dancing to the music.

Joanna Jepson, Shrewsbury High School's marketing manager, said: "These tots' concerts are popular elsewhere around the country but we thought there was a gap in the market in Shropshire for parents who might want to experience something a little bit different with their toddler. Each concert will see performances by different musical groups from around the county."

Admission costs £10 per person and is free for babies and toddlers. Please bring cash. The entrance fee includes tea, coffee and cake. The concert last 45 minutes and there is time at the end to explore the percussion instruments on display.
