Visit by wildlife documentary maker
One of the country's most loved wildlife TV presenters will be visiting Shrewsbury next month.
Simon King will be guest of honour of Shropshire Wildlife Trust and will talk about his life as a wildlife documentary maker.
He has been involved with film making for a lifetime. He is known for creating, filming, directing and presenting many award winning TV programmes and films, including Springwatch, Big Cat Diary, Planet Earth, Blue Planet and the Life series. He is also president emeritus of the Wildlife Trusts.
The talk is part one of the new Growing Confidence "Wild about" seminars, which aim to inspire the next generation and is exclusively for people aged between 11-30.
It will be held at Shropshire Wildlife Trust's HQ at The Cut, Abbey Foregate on July 24 from 7pm.
