Brought to you by Shropshire Festivals, the team behind the Shrewsbury Food Festival, Shropshire Kids Festival and Telfood Feastival, the festival, which opens on Friday, promises to be another go-to event.

Marquees have been erected in the lower part of the Quarry and thousands are expected to attend the three-day event.

Organiser Beth Heath said: "The idea is to bring fantastic beer producers in to one place, add some live music, throw in some comedy and add a few spirits to create a weekend for friends to enjoy."

There will be no mainstream beer or lager producers instead the focus will be on those who pride themselves on brewing the perfect pint.

And if beer is not your thing there is a lager bar, a gin den, rum shack and Prosecco parlour. There will also be a series of gin workshops run by Shrewsbury-based Gin Different.

And not to miss out, perry and cider makers have also been invited along.

Street food, from stonebaked pizzas to paella will be on sale and there will also be a farmers' market where some of the region's best artisan producers will be selling their products.

A comedy stage will play host to Andy White, Wes Zaharuk, George Zach and Mitch Benn while compere for the weekend is Cokey Falkow while across on the Rees Astley Music Stage dozens of acts are lined up to appear including indie-rockers Jack in a Box, Telford talent Joshua Sole and five-piece folk-rock band The Endings.

Tickets are available to buy on the day and cost £10 adults and £3 children. gates open at 5pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday and Sunday.
