Heads up on latest work in Shrewsbury Flaxmill restoration
This is the latest glimpse of the work being carried out on one of the county’s most historic buildings –Shrewsbury’s Flaxmill.
The team carrying out the restoration of the mill now has the roof of the building ready for replacement slates.
Shropshire Council’s cabinet member for enterprise and growth said he was delighted to see the progress on the £20 million project.
Councillor Nic Laurens tweeted: “Can’t believe how much work is being achieved at #Shrewsbury #FlaxMill the roof is ready for slating.”
