Status Quo's Francis Rossi coming to Shrewsbury
He is best known as front man for one of the greatest rock bands in the world, but Francis Rossi will be spending a more sedate evening in Shrewsbury when he appears at Theatre Severn.
Tickets have just gone on sale for his gig, called I Talk Too Much, on March 29 2019.
The Status Quo lead singer will be joined on stage by award winning writer and broadcaster Mick Wall, who has sold more than a million books.
Rossi will share with the audience the secrets of his 50-plus years in rock - dishing the dirt on some of the biggest names in showbiz and lifting the lid on what happens on tour.
The 68-year-old sang the first words at Live Aid in 1985, survived the obligatory rock 'n' roll brush with alcohol and drugs, was awarded an OBE in 2010 and has a BRIT for his Outstanding Contribution to Music.
His band has sold more than 120 million records globally.
