Shrewsbury band Black Bear Kiss releasing second single
Shrewsbury band Black Bear Kiss are roaring back into action with a new single later this month, accompanied by an impressive video.
The rockers release Secret Side on July 28, with their video - filmed around both Shrewsbury and Market Drayton - out the same day to view.
And frontman Chris Leech can't wait to share it so fans can see how much fun they had making it.
"The video was filmed in Shrewsbury and Market Drayton and sees the band overworked in a 9-to-5 routine," he tells the Star. "Eventually they break out with some extreme hobbies and pass-times, we drove a tank around Shropshire for a bit."
He's not joking, the band do drive a full-size tank around and finish off the video by jamming in front of it. The song continues their brand of upbeat rock, with inspiration lifted from the likes of Kasabian, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Queens of the Stone Age.
It is their second single, following on the back of Hooks, and the band describe it as 'telling a story familiar to millions, the new single and video tells of a challenging 9-to-5 routine for the band, overworked and bored with a difficult boss'.
The video will be available to view on YouTube when it goes live, and to listen to the single and watch their handywork, follow their Twitter handle @blackbearkiss and like their Facebook page @blackbearkissband for the links when they have been released.
