Top line up for new year at theatre
Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn has announced a varied line-up of acts for the new year.
From stand-up comedians to award winning musicians, there is something for every theatre goer.
Jason Manford will bring his one-man show Muddle Class to the theatre for two nights, January 22 and March 13. Tickets for the shows went on sale yesterday (FRI).
Former detective sergeant turned comedian Alfie Moore, star of BBC Radio 4 comedy A Fair Cop, will be at the theatre on February 15 with his show Getting Away with Murder.
On June 9 I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.... contestant and comedian and author Shappi Khorsandi will be on stage with Skittish Warrior - Confessions of a Club Comic.
For live music, Seth Lakeman, winner of Radio 2's Folk Award will be stopping off in Shrewsbury as part of his UK tour. A regular at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, he will bring his new band for a foot-stamping, fiddle bow-shredding show on March 3.
Later in the month, it will be the turn of the ELO Experience while in June it will be Anything for Live: The Meat Loaf Story and Thank Abba for the Music.
