"Fatal Solution" is volume two in Leslie Scase's Inspector Chard mystery series.

Leslie draws on his South Wales roots for the book set in bustling Pontypridd where what appears at first to be an unremarkable murder leads to an inquiry with unexpected twists and turns.

An advocate of the classic murder mystery genre, Leslie is also a keen historian and uses his historical knowledge and research to give authenticity to his novel.
