Shrewsbury Flower Show fireworks finally back to delight crowds after bomb scare drama
Shrewsbury Flower Show fireworks were finally back with a bang on Saturday night after a bomb scare created a weekend of high drama.
Thousands gazed up at the sky in wonderment at the magnificent display, which had been much anticipated after The Quarry was evacuated on Friday evening.
Organisers had to bring proceedings to an abrupt halt on the first day of the show after a call was made saying there were two suspicious packages in the show ground.
