Exhibitors travel to hall’s first ever model show
Exhibitors came from across the country to a Shrophire village hall's first ever model show.
Organised by John James, the event at Aston on Clun Village Hall raised hundreds of pounds for hall funds.
John said: "There were all different types of models on show and a lot of exhibitors came from a long way off. The furthest came from Swindon.
"The whole idea was to raise funds for the hall. I do a steam vintage show every June which raises money for charity, so I thought I would start something new to support the hall.
"Lots of enthusiasts came along and the day was a big success. Everyone really enjoyed it and we raised £300.
"If we hold another model show hopefully word will get around and more members of the public will come along."
