New lodge venue can finally open in Ludlow
A new lodge accommodation site is looking forward to opening up after Covid-19 delayed plans.
Wilde Lodge is just a short drive from Ludlow and the owners said they are looking forward to hosting people on their British staycations this year.
Jemma Willis at Wilde Lodge said Covid-19 meant the past year was very unpredictable.
“For us, Covid has meant an empty piece of paradise,” she said.
“It’s so beautiful, tranquil and calming here, but without any guests, or laughter filling the space it’s felt rather sad.
“We have managed to give the lodge a complete lick of paint, but driving past our empty safari tent each day has felt very strange.
“We can’t wait to open to guests again, because for us it’s about providing a magical space that’s there to be used and enjoyed by people looking for somewhere to escape to and relax.”
From their debut programme of health retreats, to new micro wedding packages or simply hiring the lodge for a long overdue stay with family or friends – the owners said they are excited to eventually welcome people to the site.
The Wilde Lodge team have also joined forces with acclaimed Shropshire restaurant Csons.
Open days at the lodge are being held on April 27, May 11 and June 15. People can book directly here
