Snow doesn't stop play for Telford performers - with VIDEO
A group of intrepid young performers didn't let the snowstorm get in the way of rehearsals for their upcoming production.
The heavy snowfall caused The Arts Centre Telford (TACT) in Ketley to close its doors at the weekend.
But members of the arts school who are starring in an ambitious production of Cats carried on with their rehearsals outdoors in the snow.
A few impromptu snowball fights helped lift the mood but stepping out together to perfect their moves was the order of the day.
Cats director Bobby Standley said they were extremely proud of their cast trying to keep the rehearsals going and making the effort to meet where they could get to each other safely.
He added: "I think this effort on their part not only shows how much we love working on these shows but also the determination among our pupils and staff to never let their audiences down."
The Old Hall School in Wellington was one of the few schools expected to open on Monday.
Headmaster Martin Stott contacted parents to say he has rallied a team of staff who can walk to the school and therefore it will be open to those parents who can get their children to school safely.
In a letter to parents, he said: "I have asked those staff who live close enough, to make the journey to school on foot tomorrow and am strongly advising those who need to drive not to take the risk.
"I would suggest that given the freezing conditions and forecast you only travel to school if you can do so safely. The day will be planned to accommodate those pupils who are able to come to school and will be a very 'different' day."
