Ultimate showtime in Telford for car enthusiasts - with pictures
Thousands of Volkswagen enthusiasts descended on the county for the annual Ultimate Dubs show.
Car owners from across the region, the UK and Europe brought their best Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda motors to show off to excited crowds at Telford's International Centre.
The indoor and outdoors displays saw cars both young and old on display, alongside a host of events throughout Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
One family who had plenty to offer was the Gardener family from Stafford.
Father Paul, and sons Ethan and Zak were all showing off their Volkswagen motors yesterday, with Paul in a VW camper van, and Ethan with a white rare VW.
They travel all over the country showing off their cars with pride, and have even taken some of them overseas.
Ethan admitted he had some interest in the car, which he has brought to the show for the last four years.
He said: "It is safe to say that we are VW enthusiasts.
"It is a family affair really as I've got my car here, which is a rare Wolsfburg edition, and my Dad, Paul, has brought his vehicle along too.
"We love coming to things like this, we interact with other VW owners and it is just a great event.
"We've taken them to places all over Europe, and other places in the country."
His brother Zak added: "I wanted to bring mine today, but it has had a bad spray job on it so I couldn't.
"It is a great event which attracts so many people, and it is nice to come and show your cars off."
As well as the cars on show, there were trade stands with car accessories, and national, European and regional club displays
Richard Hart made the trip from Bristol, and said: "I've been keen on VWs for about 20 plus years, I'm an owner and work on them every day so things like this are what I really enjoy."
The cars were on display on Saturday evening from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, and then again on Sunday from 9am to 4.30pm.
People from around the region attended, but one man had made an overseas trip following his love of VWs.
Joffrey Oude Nijhius, from the Netherlands made a long trip to view the range of VWs on offer.
He goes to other festivals all over Europe, and made the weekend trip to Telford armed with his camera to get some shots of the best cars on display.
He added: "We're just here for the weekend and made the trip by plane, we were going to drive but the cars were not ready.
"We got to these in Europe, and also back at home, they are fantastic events."
