Forty acts to battle for Telford's Got Talent crown - with video
Singers, dancers and magicians acts are among the top acts to come through tough auditions for a place in the semi finals of the Telford's Got Talent competition.
A total of 40 acts will now battle it out for a place in the finals next month after around 60 took part in the audition stage that was held across two weekends last month.
It is the second time that the competition is being held. This year it is being out on to mark Telford's 50th birthday.
Shaquille Miller, of the organising team, says: "It's gone really well so far.
"The auditions went brilliantly. We have got 40 contestants going through to the semi finals. The Mayor of Telford & Wrekin Stephen Reynolds came to watch one of the audition sessions.
"We have sold about 80 tickets so far for the finals and we've also released a video trailer that is on our Telford's Got Talent Facebook page.
"I'm enjoying every single moment. It great to see people's faces light up at the performances. We had an amazing turn out with the launch of the auditions, there have been 18 different variety of acts, including magic shows, singers, street dancers which are through to the next round.
"Unfortunately we had to send acts home. Parents were very patient with it being such a long day, the contestants were very excited but nervous as there were lots going on, with filming and photographs being done."
The winner will get £500 cash and a trophy, and a chance to perform at the town centre Christmas lights switch on party.
Panel judges include Gogglebox star Sandra Martin, entertainer Lynton McLean and leader of Telford & Wrekin Council Shaun Davies.
In a change in dates, the semi finals will now be on May 25 at The Place, Oakengates, followed by the live finals on June 15 at the same venue.
Tickets are on sale and prices have been reduced to £12 for adults and £8 for children.
