Pub hosts Edinburgh Fringe comedy preview
Comedy fans can enjoy a sneak preview of this year's Edinburgh Fringe festival without having to leave Shropshire.
Funnymen Ian Lane and Steve Day – who styles himself as Britain's only deaf comedian – will be trying out their acts for this summer's festival in the Scottish capital at the Crown Inn in Oakengates on Tuesday night.
The double bill is part of the Crown's Telford Fringe festival, where some of the top comedians appearing at Edinburgh's renowned creative arts festival give the people of Shropshire a taste of their acts.
Tickets for the show, which starts at the pub in Market Street at 7.30pm, are £4 if bought in advance on 01952 610888 or £5 on the day.
