Chetwynd Deer Park, which is home to Newport Show and other agricultural and motor events, will open its gates on Saturday, October 31, for an open day. Bookings must be made in advance.

Newport Show and many other events were cancelled this year because of the coronavirus crisis.

The park is 200 acres of open space and it will be available to explore for £5 per person. Young people up to 15 years of age will go free as will members of the Newport & District Agricultural Society.

Everyone is welcome, including dogs, but they must be on a lead at all times.

All profits from the day will be donated to NHS Charities Together.

Book in advance at ticketsource.co.uk/newport-district-agricultural-society.

Next year's Newport Show is scheduled for July 10.
