The show is being put on at the Little Theatre Donnington, opening on Thursday and continuing to Saturday.

"Hello, Dolly!" is a timeless story of love, friendship, and adventure set against the backdrop of New York City at the turn of the century.

The musical has captivated audiences for decades and has become a beloved theatre classic.

The heart-warming tale follows the journey of Dolly Gallagher Levi, a widow who works as a matchmaker, as she tries to find a match for herself.

Her target is Horace Vandergelder, a wealthy and grumpy man, but not without encountering a few obstacles along the way.

The show is full of lively characters, hilarious mishaps, and catchy songs, celebrating love, friendship, and the power of positive thinking.

"Our production of 'Hello, Dolly!' is truly a labour of love," says Lynne James, the show's director. "Everyone involved has worked hard to bring this classic musical to life, and we can't wait to show it off now."
