Where are they now? We chat with American Pie's Thomas Ian Nicholas as he visits Telford
We caught up with the star of the cultural phenomenon American Pie, Thomas Ian Nicholas, ahead of his big weekend in Telford.
Thomas Ian Nicholas, known for his role as Kevin in American Pie, is one of many big names coming to Telford for the return of Wales Comic Con next weekend.
As well as giving fans the opportunity for a meet and greet, the actor, producer and musician is performing at the convention's "unofficial after-party" at Firefly in Oakengates on the Saturday night.
The 43-year-old has a jam-packed schedule for his visit to the town, so we caught up with him after the school run from his home in Los Angeles.
"The very first convention I did was Wales Comic Con back in 2012," Thomas said.
"I remember when Jamie Milner [the convention's director] contacted me and I thought 'why would you want me there? I'm not in a Marvel movie.'
"I think that was just at a time when comic cons were evolving to have wider pop culture as a part of them.
"I'm very grateful that anyone would want to come and say hello. I still have my own moments where I'm excited to meet people whose work I really enjoy.
