Lenny Henry to answer fan questions at Birmingham City University event
Sir Lenny Henry will answer fan questions in an exclusive event at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
The event on February 6, hosted by Birmingham City University, comes in celebration of Lenny's tenure as the institution’s chancellor.
The 60-year-old Dudley Comedian will be interviewed live on stage by broadcaster, author and charity ambassador June Sarpong.
She will explore Lenny's anecdotes, personal journey, what the future holds for him, and his role at the university so far. The interview will be followed by an audience Q and A session.
Doors for this event will open at 18:15 for an 18:30 start. After the event guests are invited to continue the evening with drinks and an array of canapés.
This evening forms part of Birmingham City University’s public lecture series City Talks, which welcomes a programme of speakers into the University to share their views and insights on a range of topics.
Previous City Talks events have included the likes of YouTuber and lifestyle blogger Lily Pebbles, Princeton University professor Imani Perry, Dr Kehinde Andrewa, television presenter and Afropean founder Johny Pitts, and philosopher Professor A C Grayling.
