Scheduled for later this spring, the stoner/grunge duo are recording it with "the extremely talented local music producer Ryan Pinson from RML Studios" based at the city's Newhampton Arts Centre.

Guitarist and vocalist Duncan McHugh added: "We take our music seriously and we are looking to progress as a band."

Broozer have only been active since last summer. Yet they have recorded and released their debut single Son of Man, which is available on most online music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Amazon Music, and is also available to download on iTunes having been released in November.

Son of Man has received airplay on Brum Radio, who decided to add the track to their A-list. It has also been featured in a number of internet-based magazines and blogs.

Duncan added: "Broozer are not just a recording band, we pride ourselves on an energetic and very lively stage show. Unlike other bands that have numerous members and layers to their music, we have quite a stripped down sound. However, its pure rawness and energy compensates for such differences to other artists."

Since their formation, Broozer have played at a number of West Midlands venues including The Flapper, O2 Academy, The Actress and Bishop, The Victoria, and The Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham, as well as their home city's The Robin 2 in Bilston, The Hummingbird and The Giffard Arms in the city centre.

They will be at The Sunflower Lounge again on Friday perfecting their tracks before hitting the studio. They will be playing at the Queensway venue alongside Fat Cat, The Arosa, Free Galaxy and former The Ticket Unsigned page stars Crest Glider, hosted by The Future Sound Project.
