DJ Ben ribbed by Chris Moyles
Shropshire breakfast DJ Ben Day felt the full force of Chris Moyles's lavatorial humour on Radio One. The national presenter was flicking through a DJ magazine after he appeared in the latest edition, when he spotted Ben pictured at a celebrity function.
He was quick to mock Ben's name, B Day, and the usual toilet jokes followed.
Today the popular presenter on The Severn was happy to take the ribbing.
"I didn't hear the mention myself because I was doing the Oswestry breakfast show at the time. The first I knew about it was when somebody texted me," said Ben, pictured.
"It's nothing I have not heard before, I've often been called B Day and my colleagues refer to me as 'Bendy'. I e-mailed Chris thanking him for the mention!"
"I'm very flattered that Chris mentioned me on his show, which has eight million listeners," the Shropshire DJ added.
