The video has been posted on video website YouTube and shows a man vomiting in Mardol after drinking in the Shrewsbury Hotel. Pub Watch members Andy Wagner and Judith Williams criticised the video for glorifying binge drinking. It is streamed under the title "Spewing up outside the Shrewsbury Hotel."
It shows a group of men coming out of the hotel and one of them vomiting just outside the pub in Mardol after being sick inside.
The video, which has been viewed more than 100 times, is accompanied by a short explanation that says: "He's just spewed up in the pub and then outside as you can see.
"The bar lady didn't want to serve us the pint of top shelfer in the first place but after he ralfed all over her carpet she said 'guys, I told you'."
Pub Watch is an organisation of licensed premises in Shrewsbury that deals with issues in the town's bars and pubs.
Councillor Andrew Wagner said: "The pubs in Shrewsbury are working hard to curb a binge drinking culture but there are some people who insist on pushing it too far.

Judith Williams, the council's portfolio holder for licensing and street cleaning said: "It is a minority of morons who find this entertaining and found it amusing to film it in the first place.
"It is pathetic and disappointing. I would like anyone who knows who these people are to let me know and we can send them the bill for the street cleaning."
Pub manager Sue Richards said: "Wetherspoons does not encourage binge drinking and has a zero tolerance policy.
"We do not tolerate any behaviour of this nature or promote top shelf drinks and have had awards for standing by this policy."
