Celebrity pair at county church
Celebrity couple Chantelle and Preston were in Shropshire this weekend as guests at the wedding of Preston's big brother Alex. The wedding took place in Whittington, near Oswestry.
A small crowd of fans of the couple - who shot to fame as contestants on Celebrity Big Brother 4 this year - gathered outside St John the Baptist Church on Saturday evening, hoping to catch a glimpse of the pair.
And they were forced to wait in the cold and rain until the end of the service after Chantelle and Preston arrived early.
Autograph hunters were left disappointed as the couple refused to stop afterwards and were whisked away in a minibus, with Chantelle heard to say she "didn't think it appropriate" at a private family event.
Preston, 24, is the lead singer and guitarist of The Ordinary Boys, who reached number three with Boys will be Boys following his appearance on Big Brother.
It was in the Big Brother house he met Chantelle Houghton, 23, an unknown promotions girl from Essex, who was planted in the house by Channel 4 to pose as a celebrity.
Her remit was to convince the rest of the house mates, who included the likes of entertainer Michael Barrymore, MP George Galloway, actress Rula Lenska and model Jodie Marsh, she was the genuine article.
She did it so well she won the competition, walking away with £25,000 in prize money.
